Find out how jeans manufacturing works. From the cotton field to final detailing just before the product goes to market.

From ISKO I-SKOOL™ – the international Denim Contest – this is a unique Webinar that explores the process of creating of a pair of jeans.

In this second part we’ll learn about “Style, Research and Development”. This is where the real exploration of style begins: research requires the selection of inspirational pictures on-line or from the fashion archives in order to develop mood-boards that define a collection’s look and feel. This phase is key to the production of a denim collection, and it’s followed by a briefing session from which designers will develop sketches. Once the fabric is chosen, it’s time to study the details and create paper patterns. Then on to prototype assembly, and fitting tests will be held.
