The fifth edition of ISKO I-SKOOL® has now closed its very last phase: the Denim Design Digital Prize. The online contest started on October 22nd and officially ended on November 4th, with the announcement of its three winners.
The past two weeks saw Facebook fans taking the chance to vote through a special app integrated on the ISKO I-SKOOL® Facebook page, choosing their favourite denim outfit among the twenty shortlisted that walked the runway of July’s final event. Inspired by this year’s creative theme, UnDocumented, each one was a celebration of denim as a groundbreaking force in social history and as a propeller of forthcoming changes.
The competition in the social media arena led to a whole new level of engagement on the online platform, with a total number of 2.390 votes.
The winners of the fifth edition of ISKO I-SKOOL® Denim Design Digital Prize are:
– 1st place: Undraa Chinzorig, from Esmod Seoul, received 23.8% of votes for the project “No more confinement” and wins a Reflex Digital Camera plus 50m of ISKO™ denim fabric;
– 2nd place: Michael Ruggiero, from IUAV, received 18,8% of votes for the project “Reverse” and wins 25m of ISKO™ denim fabric;
– 3rd place: Lucila Nair Pieres, from Istituto Marangoni Florence, received 17,6% of votes for the project “The second chance” and wins 15m of ISKO™ denim fabric.
The success of the fifth edition of ISKO I-SKOOL™ was another leap forward for a project that has become more and more able to connect industry with young talents, highlighting its great potential for innovation and future developments.
“We are truly proud to support emerging talents and share our competence and passion for denim with them” said Fabio Di Liberto, ISKO Brand Director. “It is also great to see this level of engagement online and among peers”.
